Pin Grading Guidelines

S- Grade/Collector's Grade:
We do not offer this currently.

A-Grade/Standard Grade:
This is the highest possible quality of pin that this store offers. Standard-grade pins may have very minor imperfections that are only visible upon extremely close-up inspection and/or when the light hits the pin at a specific angle. Generally, if the average person would hardly notice an imperfection, it's considered standard grade.

Some examples of potential standard grade imperfections are:

• Imperfections in the finish of either the enamel or the metal which is visible only at specific light angle(s).
• Minor surface scuffs on metal/enamel
• Small ripples/pores or bubbles in enamel that may be exacerbated by viewing angle
• Slightly lower fills in minor areas
• Tiny specks in the enamel that measures less than 1mm
• Slight rippling or variation on the surface of the pin

B-Grade/Seconds Grade:
These are the pieces that have more noticeable defects. Generally, if a defect is visible very easily at a distance, it is seconds grade.

Some examples of potential of potential seconds grade imperfections are:
